Mazurka from the Masquerade Suite by Aram Khachaturian (1903-1978). Composed in 1944, the Mazurka is part of a suite of incidental music written for the play Masquerade by Mikhail Lermontov.
This selection was recorded live at the Barclay Theater on Sunday, March 21st, 2010 by La Primavera, Four Seasons Youth Symphony, under the direction of Assistant Conductor Mark Alpizar.
