Attendance:

Attendance at rehearsals and concerts is mandatory. Each member of the orchestra plays a key role in the success of the ensemble. Players are needed at rehearsals to create a good musical balance and blend for the orchestra.  Members are expected to be seated and ready to play prior to the beginning of rehearsal.  Start time for the rehearsal listed is the time of downbeat, not arrival time, so please arrive early (at least 10 minutes) to not disrupt the rest of the group and rehearsal.

There will be three concerts in the 2009-2010 season. Three absences are allowed per season (year). If there are any pre-planned, important activities that would force you to miss a rehearsal in the series, be sure to fill out an Absence Request Form at least 2 weeks before the absence.  Your parents have 2 Absence Request Forms, and you can get more from Kath or the orchestra manager.
